Not a great weekend for impressing people, Big 12 ...

Side note, our next opponent, Arkansas State, is losing to Arkansas 49-14 in the 3rd quarter at "neutral" War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. This is the last game (ever?) scheduled for Arkansas to play at War Memorial.

Wondering if in the NIL/portal era there will be more flash in the pans & ASU falls in that category for last season? The opposite can happen as well (maybe with FSU?). We'll see

But for those who have fewer wholesale changes & focus still on player development & HS recruits as the core, then success will be more sustained.

3 games into the season for good ol' ISU with 2 of those being slobber knockers, I see a core team that is physically & mentally tough which also hasn't played its best football. Sure, we smoked an FCS team, but that's no barometer for any of our remaining games.

3-0 with much room to improve. We played well against K-St and the Hoks but both games could (should?) have been double digit wins. Good times ahead Clone fans!

Hate to say it but I think the league might actually suck this year. Army is inside the K-State 10 yard line down 6 points late in the 3rd quarter. Army lost to Tarleton State last week.
It does suck, embrace it. Will be easier to win. I still think KU, BYU, TCU, and Utah will be tough enough challenge for us.
