RECRUITING: Michigan DB commits to Iowa State

Iowa State has landed a commitment from three-star cornerback Jaeveyon Morton, according to a report by CycloneAlert’s Alex Halsted. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound Detroit native chose the Cyclones over 18 other offers.

Morton is rated as the No. 133 cornerback in the country and No. 32 player in Michigan, per 247Composite. His other offers include Cincinnati, Iowa, Indiana and Pittsburgh.

He’s the tenth commit in Iowa State’s 2018 class and is the second cornerback, joining Anthony Johnson Jr. The Cyclones currently have the No. 36 class in the country and No. 7 in the Big 12.
