Iowa State football picked up a trio of three-star commitments over the weekend from defensive lineman Drew Aagesen, safety Jordan Crider and wide receiver Jason Wooden.
Drew Aagesen becomes the second defensive line commitment of the class of 2027. Standing at 6-foot-5, 275 pounds, he’s rated as the No. 20 player in Michigan and the No. 137 defensive lineman nationally by 247Sports. The Goodrich native has offers from Boston College, Michigan State, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Virginia and Wisconsin, among others.
Jordan Crider is Jimmy Rogers’ first defensive back commit of the 2027 class. Standing at 6-foot-1, 185 pounds, Crider is rated as the No. 53 player in Ohio and the No. 129 safety nationally by 247Sports. The Middletown native holds offers from Kentucky, Temple and James Madison, among others.
Jason Wooden becomes the second wide receiver commit of the class. Standing at 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, Wooden is No. 164 player in Texas and the No. 166 receiver nationally by 247Sports. The McKinney native holds offers from Air Force, Western Michigan and UTEP, among others.
Rogers and his staff are up to 10 commits in the class of 2027, ranking No. 38 nationally by 247Sports.
