Question for those who follow the WNBA. What do you think about the officials this year? I watch a number of games not just those that Bridget plays in. At the start of the season I felt that it might be looking better than last year but the last few games it is as bad or worse than last season. A number of games have gotten very physical almost to the point of fights. Last nights game with LA on one play Plum tried to tie up Barker and ended up with Sarah on the floor and Plum sitting on top of her. How that is not a foul I don't understand. Plus on a couple of time the LA player gave the Fire player a hard shoulder bump and then stole the ball as the Fire player was going to the floor. Plus IMO the ref's seem to let some players (and coaches) dictate the style of play and some long time top players even seem to intimidate them into making calls that favor them. All I ask is that the officials call it by the book and are consistent start to finish.
