I'm guessing we offered Chloe Johnson months ago, but the only confirmation I've seen is this post from a few days ago.

Wondering if staying close to home is a big conisderation given the issues she has to struggle with. Gophers, Hawks and Cyclones are all close to home. Gophers are "home" but Hawk and Cyclone offers are for better programs.

Jake Sullivan is as good of an in, along with our next state proximity, and program success, as we got. Long ago, though not too far from Duluth, we had Megan Taylor from Roseau way up N. Minnesota. Seems like a stretch that Chloe would listen to Megan's story, but worth a try. I have made the trip many times to Lake of the Woods, Duluth, and Superior from NE Iowa, Minnesota is a North-South long haul, but a scenic state. NIL money may prove valuable.

New scholarship offer (and new person on the list):

Starting to rack up offers this summer: Maryland, Louisville, Arizona, Arizona State, Ohio State, Florida, Virginia Tech, Alabama, DePaul, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, etc. No elites that are better than ISU's offer IMHO. I'd say we are on par with OSU and Maryland at this point.

New offer. She's not on the list yet but likely will shortly.

Another "made me look" recruiting posting for mred. :) Just had to look to see who she was. I see her older sister, Riley 2026, committed to UW-Green Bay. Another sister, twin to Riley, plays so there's a lot of Ketterhagen gals on the team. She also plays volleyball and has visited Michigan for a football game this fall.***

Freshman had a nice opening game for HS. They lost but she had 26 pts.

*** Sidebar: Would be good to have great run with Crooks/Brown in order to establish some current cred for recruiting versus the Big Ten.

Both of mred's new adds show up on this recruiting services 2028 list along with Chloe Johnson.

And another tip of the hat for mred keeping us in the loop.

I'm in Wisconsin for work this week and by sheer coincidence met a HS girls basketball assistant coach who knows Kinsley Ketterhagen's family well. Her HS team, Oostburg (WI), is #1 in Division 3, coached by her father and featuring her twin older sisters. The twin sisters are verbally committed to UW Green Bay, coached by former Drake Assistant and South Dakota HC Kayla Karius.

I would assume Kayla Karius is on ISU's short-list of coaches to interview when CBF retires - she has a pretty impressive resume.

The assistant coach opined ISU is Kinsley's "best offer" so far (she's a freshman) and she's switching AAU teams to the All Iowa Attack, which sounds promising for ISU.

I don't know that I've provided anything new but thought I'd share what I learned - it was new to me!
