Tarique Milton Ok?

I made a comment at last week's game about the number of players that were dressed in street clothes on the sideline and the guy that I was with made the comment that he wondered if they were making all players stand on the sidelines. This way they wouldn't be in the stands where they potentially could be exposed to covid. That logic makes sense because I know they used to have a certain area in the stands where they placed players that didn't dress for the games.

The rule is that 53 is the minimum you need in order to play (plus specifics at certain positions).

70 is the maximum for a conference road trip, with a couple of exceptions.

For the first two home games, it looked like ISU dressed around 85-90 (of the 125 that are on the roster).

I am pretty sure You can elect to play with fewer than 53 players. It’s the minimum number that if you can’t dress 53, or a certain number at key positions, you can seek to postpone or cancel the game without a forfeit. You can still elect to play the game.

I thought I read somewhere that there was a limit to the number of dressed players for Big 12 home games but could not find that anywhere.
