PSU vs OSU play before half

That was extremely weird. OSU has the ball and steps back and takes a knee to head into locker room up 21-3 at half. Teams are streaming into lockers when refs run up and say there was one second left on the clock when his knee hit the ground. It was 4th down so PSU has the ball and one second. They send out the FG kicker and nail a 50 yard FG. Sure looked like the clock expired but just strange.

What they showed on TV for a clock it looked like he kneeled and then it clicked zero.

I actually thought it looked like he left a little time on the clock but everyone was saying the half was over so I figured I didn’t see it right
