i don’t think it’s ridiculous at all. KSU has lost by double digits to Drake, Colorado, UNLV and Fort Hays State all in Manhattan. UNLV lead by 6 or more most of the last ten minutes.
Kansas State is giving up 1.11 points per possession this year. They are very bad defensively and Iowa State should be able to score 75 tonight with ease.
As a reference we gave up .99 points per game against South Dakota State. This should be a game to get some confidence back and I legitimately believe this could be a snoozer in the 2H.

I appreciate your optimism.

I just have no trust in this squad so far.

KSU is b-a-d and maybe I am underestimating Iowa, but that was painful last Friday.

I get it. I was big on Iowa -12.5. I just believe this is a bounce back situation with the idea to go 1-0 in the Big 12. Great spot for ISU as far as value. I’m on ISU -7.5 and I think they win by 13-17.

Can anybody give me the gist of why KSU sucks to badly now?

They won the conference two years ago with Wade and Brown!

What happened...?

BT has us favored by 2.

Eight is ridiculous.

KenPom and Haslametrics both have it at 9.

With that said my group tracks KP/Haslametrics/BT predictions versus oddsmaker lines in a spreadsheet, so far YTD the consensus pick from those 3 analytical sites is only hitting 47% for P5 games.

That's how I see it too.

Weber's history is like this, isn't it.

He won his first championship with his first squad leftover by Frank's departure to USC,e. Then, Marcus Foster and everything went south.

Then, he matches Franks's stud class: Brown, Stokes, Wade. Bingo. Championship. Then, Cartier Diarra and everything went south.

Now, he recruits another stud class. In a year or so, he'll hang another championship banner then retire, I presume.
