New Cooler

I got this 55 quart Lifetime cooler at walmart for $100 and have been really happy with it. If you are not opening more than 3 times a days for the food, the ice will last 4+ days. If its a beer cooler, get something cheaper since you open it too much

Nice. Might just try one of these or the Ozark trails for now. Not worried so much for beer storage, but food storage on 4-5 day camping/fishing trips. I guess if they don’t quite meet my expectations there I’ll invest more later and use this one for beer.

Go for budget and the Coleman Extreme. Unless you are going off the grid type camping something like an RTIC, Yeti, etc. is unnecessary and mainly a status symbol.

This. All the Karen’s drinking their fruity coffee drinks in Yeti mugs is just dumb.

This thread made me think of the cooler from kick starter from a few years ago. The cooler with the Bluetooth speaker and built in blender that they called "Coolest" that got about 13 million dollars from over 60000 people who were all promised one of these coolers. They ceased operations last year with 20,000 of the original backers never receiving their cooler.

The idiots behind this venture mismanaged it horribly.

I looked at all of these and then discovered that this brand is made right here in Iowa(Atlantic). Took it on a trip to Yellowstone and the ice lasted most of the 10 days. After 7 days I threw in an extra bag to be safe. Also in cyclone colors.

This is the 70 and got it for $309. Picked up directly at the factory.


This test is the smaller one. I'm happy we went with the 70.
