Lepin instead of Lego

I did this one last year.

The pieces are incredibly tiny (think about 1/3 width of Lego) and are not the same sizing consistency of Lego, but it's together damnit. It certainly challenges your patience and extreme fine motor skills.
I have the Cy too. Got it an Xmas or two ago in a grab bag thing or something for little JM. We Dumped out the pieces and looked at the instructions and I said nope. This a together project and there’s no way a young kid could decipher those instructions or have the fine motor skills to effectively deal with those tiny ass pieces. One of these years it will go together but not yet.

Lepin sounds like a disease, Lego sounds like a timeless Danish toy. Speaking of which, I bought the stranger things byers house set. I think it was 2300 pieces, super fun to put together. They also released new HP sets, with a huge Diagon Alley set that I would have done terrible things for as a kid.

Having both retained my passion for building with Legos and also now being a paid working adult is a good combination.
