2nd point, fair. Every thread here turns into that no matter if it's about him or not. On the first one though, that's why I put it in the general college sports thread. It's a pretty big deal for a progam that's never really had many big deals in it's history and I believe it's the first 5 star they've had

I don't know exactly when star-system for recruiting officially took hold, but NU's basketball history is sparse for standout/legends. Dave Hoppen and Eric Piatkowski are first two that came to mind, without digging further.

Tyronn Lue is one I forgot. And Cookie Belcher, (which is an awesome name) I *think* he still holds Big 12 career record for steals.
