FDA approves new antibody test

Now been told of three people who are supposed to be positive the second time. Two were asymp. Makes me think maybe they had false positives.

Hard to tell. AB tests like Bob is referencing with increased accuracy AND specificity will certainly be a boon in the fight against this pandemic.

How much does it cost? How long to wait for results? Where can you do this?

A cowardly attempt. Call it what it is if this is a "slop-in-the-corner COVID Megathread". There's a reason the last one went down in flames, and I'm sure the same folks will be back here doing the same **** that they know will eventually result in closure. Which is too bad.

Here's a thread where almost anything can be said and is fair game. https://cyclonefanatic.com/forum/th...ease-covid19-global-pandemic.255022/page-1109

We all know that is not the case in an off topic thread.

FWIW @kcbob79clone does a nice job of keeping it at the informative level with generally constructive material.

A lot of it comes to perspective. Back In august or so, I was posting the daily 14 average for story county. I wanted to go to the games and if they were high, we would not be allowed. I got accused by the usual suspects of making political statements. (Didn’t know that saying county X is at Y% was political and not fact) It was the usuals who would make political statements to shut down threads. They just wanted someone else to blame for their crap.

Back in the good old days before the rate was higher than the air temp?

The point is that, by now, we have a pretty good idea of what is fair game and what is not. We also know that there are factions who are sensitive to certain topics and one has been banned outright--that being the efficacy of masks. I disagree with you., People were posting objectionable items under the guise of "what I'm saying isn't political but what you say is". Which is *********.

It was NOT simply drive-by sniping from progressives. There was an equal amount of passive-aggressive ********* from those I'm sure you are more comfortable with. If a person wants to be able to say pretty much whatever they want, then they need to hit the cave. If people are willing to post links with minimal personal opinions, then I think it works.

I didn’t say it was from one side, I didn’t say there was not political crap spouted. I was mentioning that every Covid thread will be closed outside the cave because sooner or later the usual suspects can’t hold back and will either cut loose intentionally or unintentionally and get it closed. We know who the usual suspects are and sadly they always show up.
