I like this year. Expectations are low and the guys have something to prove. Felt like last year with our talent we should be winning every game so when something went wrong I was extremely frustrated.

I lowkey kind of enjoy these types of seasons more. I can relax and just cheer for the guys without getting wound up about March. And if they excel? Just icing on the cake.

I would not underestimate the impact of hiring Yaklich away from Michigan.

Exactly. In college hoops if you're not a blueblood you have to have talent and all the stars to align. Every time we have the talent I'm always thinking "man if we don't make a run this year we'll never do it in my life time" This year I'm hoping to just make the dance and see what we can do.
