It was an awesome tailgate despite the game result!Things to know before the Cyclone tailgate in Boulder:
Cycsk (Cyclone Steve Kemp)
- Main Tailgate. 2795 Colorado Avenue. Look for the ISU flags, ISU tailgate tents, and an inflatable Cy at the northwest corner of Route 36 and Colorado Avenue.
- Posters. We will have poster boards and markers. It is likely that the team buses will drive right past us.
- Food Truck. The BBQ food truck will be open to the public as well as us.
- Ames Lager and Iowa Liquors. Several of us will be bringing things to share. Some may charge, others may take contributions, and others may just give it away. I will be serving coffee with Iowish Cream, Iowa brownies, Cyclone fruit kebabs, 1858 Cyclone OJ, Ames Lager, and Iowa liquors (Iowish Cream, Cody Road, Steeple Ridge, 1858 Vodka, Prairie Fire, and Saints & Sinners Apple Pie).
- Porta-Potties. We will have 4 on the property with 2 restricted for “women only.”
- Tickets. We will have a board where you can offer tickets for sale or let people know that you are looking for tickets.
- Volunteers. We could still use people to help as parking attendants, coffeemaker, concierge to take people to the front of the food truck line, make posters, take photos, manage games, etc.
- Buffs Wear Black. We recommend that you were cardinal-colored gear.
- Post-Game Tailgate. We have people staying at the tailgate lot during the game, so we should be ready right after the game to do some more tailgating. We will probably order some food to be delivered.
