Bold is the team we want to win

Friday 12/18

6:30pm Purdue at Indiana (BTN)

7:00pm USC vs Washington (FOX)?

Saturday 12/19

11:00am Iowa State vs Oklahoma (ABC)

11:00am Ohio State vs Northwestern (FOX)

11:00am Texas A&M at Tennessee (ESPN)

11:00am Vanderbilt at Georgia (SEC)

2:30pm Louisiana at Coastal Carolina (ESPN)

3:00pm Clemson vs Notre Dame (ABC)

6:00pm Michigan at Iowa (ESPN)

7:00pm Cincinnati vs Tulsa (ABC)?

7:00pm Alabama vs Florida (CBS)

Obviously we don't need all of these. If Iowa State beats Oklahoma, it would help ISU get in the playoff if Northwestern, Tennessee, Alabama, and Notre Dame win. Tulsa over Cincinnati also would be nice just in case. Vanderbilt over Georgia probably doesn't matter but you never know. Washington over USC would also be nice just to avoid the argument that undefeated USC belongs in the playoff. Louisiana winning would help ISU's resume.

If ISU loses to Oklahoma and we want a NY6 bowl, Purdue over Indiana would be great. Michigan over Iowa also just in case. USC beating Washington and Cincinnati beating Tulsa would be nice in this scenario probably because it would probably guarantee that Iowa State makes a NY6 bowl as long as we stay in the top 12.

I’m interested to see the eye test really come into play if we some how win by a couple scores and osu plays close vs northwestern

I saw on one of the CFB shows that b10 lined up 1-7 between the two divisions to play on 12/19. Now I saw a revised line up, again in this thread. Did the b10 change their minds to prop up their league and help ensure that osu makes the CFP?

Or, They BOTH lose!

I could see them both losing. Indiana especially. Purdue has been close in their losses and it's a rivalry game. The Hoosiers are overrated and still are playing with a backup QB.

Michigan has sucked this year but if they decide to show up, they do have the talent to beat Iowa.
