Agree. For a lot of the commercials out there it's not even that they're all that terrible of an ad, it's just that you hear/see it literally 20 times every hour. So obnoxious. -

I think one challenge is going to be whether to include "towns" like Waukee, Johnston, Altoona, Ankeny, Urbandale, etc. because if you're driving through greater DSM is there really any distinction? I just don't think there is. I couldn't tell you when I've left Johnston and entered Urbandale... -

One of the great accounts from that book was about a guy who was arrested for murder and jailed. This would've been in the 1800s, it's been quite a while since I read the book. He somehow escaped and made it out to the western part of the state. The law was able to track him down and find him... -
