NBA playoff basketball is fantastic, I'll watch as much as I can.
NBA regular season is a drag and any time I have for hoops is spent watching college.
It feels like two different sports to me (Playoff versus regular season)
Just having a hard time seeing who this game beneifts.
Do the media partners benefit? ISU KSU odd choice. Maybe nobody else will go over.? Football across the pond has a worse chance of catching on than big 12 Mexico.. if that’s possible.
Big 12 — do we get bigger media payout for this? Is...
Hunter likely has no regret in this situation.
The kid who had little chance at a NBA payday transferred to a school who could pay him the most money (840k). His new team then made the elite 8 the very next season.
I’d bet he’d do it the same way all over again.
We need to move past any...
Seemed like his play really dropped off as the year went on. I wouldn’t be happy if he was pegged as a key peice to my teams rebuild. If just a Role player… ok.
Uconn had the luxury of playing Edey straight up (no double) for a large portion of the game with Clingan and Johnson.
Smart plan, almost got both fouled out, but it worked.
Isn't there a concept that says to win a championship you have to be a top 25 Kenpom defense AND a top 40 Kenpom offense? Feels like our team probably confirmed that concept (if I have it right). Offense just wasn't quite strong enough to be a contender.
Setting aside Uconn's dominance and...
Fun -- we've reached the time of year in college sports when random journalists, podcasters, media, ect. spew complete hot garbage about "this team would go to this conference" and "that team would go to that conference". All of this in a bunch of hypothetical, made up in their head, situations...
I’ll probably disagree. Tang is a nut job, but the college basketball world seems to believe he is a good coach. I’ll vote for keeping perceived good coaches, and marketable characters in our conference. It’s good for ratings and perception.
Are you saying the 2025 - 2026 basketball season is going to have players with their covid year available? I'm not mad about Heise... but good lord!! I realize this is medical related. I had though the 2024 - 2025 season was the last (which it will be for most I guess).
Don’t know why we get so caught up on the archaic positions of 1,2 3,4,5. TJ and staff will simply put out lineups that can defend, score and rebound well enough. Might be 1,1,3,3,4. Might be 1,3,3,5,5… ect.
