For some reason the judge was my first thought. At minimum threw away any credibility he had (although I imagine he probably didn’t have much anyway), at worst his career will be over. Only to have TT say, “well… at least we tried, amirite?”
You can’t have a class completely void of FR though. As rich as these schools are they can’t completely abandon all development and portal shop. Someone like Bandauer and Williams are good bets that will become at least decent. Kase Evans makes zero sense. I wasn’t even sure he’d see the field...
I’m guessing he’s not going to recruit ISU level players after this year. Which unless you’re a senior transferring to PSU, is a foolish move. I’m guessing the Bandauer’s and other kid’s from the class are being sold a bill of goods out of desperation to cobble a class together.
I think they’ll let them do what they want until they get to the redzone and then bracket Brahmer down there. That leaves Burkle though in a 1 x1 with ideally Sharar.
Just can’t give up any deep shots to your WRs like last year if you’re Iowa.
Sharar looked good out there. Harrell did not impress. I anticipate a lot of Cash with Lutmer. Brahmer is a matchup nightmare regardless who gets that assignment. If you’re Iowa you let them target the tight ends until 3rd down and the red zones then try and bracket them and undercut a few...
I’m pretty sure Utah going 2-7 had more to do with them being down to their 4th and 5th string qbs very early in the year. I’ll be surprised if they struggle this year.
