    Another thing to check when your furnace is doing that is the outside vent from the furnace. If it get's plugged with snow or ice the furnace won't vent and it won't allow furnace to start up.

    Typically in that wiring set up your black and red are both hot, one is for the light and one for the fan. Maybe the red wire is hooked to the light switch. Try switching the black to red and see if that helps

    That's why the best thing you can do is fork over an extra $50 for the permanent seat back cushions. Number 1 it saves your A$$. Bigger yet #2, it guarantees that you have your spot. Spots are still to narrow, but you don't lose your space.
