    MLB: ***2026 Minnesota Twins***

Twins.tv (in Iowa) works great. $100 a year, which I wasn't enthused about after this past offseason, but for the cost-per-game, you really can't beat it.

This was the first large stadium concert I've been to, but I agree having the stage in the center of the field is the way to go. My seats were in the second deck near 50 yard line, so I had anticipated being on the "side" of the stage, expecting it to be oriented towards the end zone club. The...

I'm not a huge country music guy, but my wife and I went to the concert and we both had a great time. I've never been to a big stadium concert before, so that was a new experience to me and I really enjoyed it. Being a football season ticket holder, it was a little different being in Jack...

Yeah, I know. Hoping we get lucky and forecast improves. Just trying to be prepared. It's adding a bit of stress to what should just be excitement to enjoy the show. Cold is one thing, but cold + wet is another level!

Weather forecast is not ideal. Might have to order a full body rain suit on Amazon.

Does anyone know how long the event will actually be? I see gates open at 5pm, first performer starts at 5:20pm. I had assumed total show (including all openers + Luke Combs) would be 3-4 hrs, but maybe I'm wrong. I've never been to a big stadium concert like this before.

    Peacock

The lack of pause / rewind functionality on Peacock was infuriating. And the fact that I was not aware of this. I've grown accustomed to rarely watching games fully live. I got my kids to bed around 8, fully expecting to be able to watch the game from the beginning and fast forward through...

YouTube TV Getting Ability to Split Into 4 Screens

I'll be really happy if it comes to fruition that all of the ESPN+ content is available "for free" and integrated into the YTTV interface.

*** Official Northwestern vs #16 IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

Is ESPN+ really $29.99 per month now?? I just went to sign up expecting the normal ~$12/month for a couple months of ISU basketball. This is getting outrageous.

Creighton exhibition discussion (see post 178 for Jake's link)

Any idea if the pay per view can be watched after the fact as a replay? I probably won't be able to watch live on Friday night, but would maybe still purchase to watch reply if I can the next day.

Yeah, I think I'm pretty content with this. I'm not a big country guy myself, but figured it'd be a good Christmas present for my wife. Had no idea what to expect for prices, I figured I might have to go up to $200 per person just to get in the stadium. More cash for $20 beers now. o_O

Managed to get 2 seats in section V for $80/each -- $210.30 total for the 2 after fees/taxes. Not sure what the other seating area price points were. Had to use Ticketmaster on my phone so it was not easy to navigate.

Anyone having trouble getting into the presale waiting room? I keep getting stuck on the authenticate your account one-time code screen.

    2025-26 Schedule

$7.99 for one game is a little steep, but I'm sure I'll end up paying it.

    Timeout Entertainment Suggestions

Playing highlights or live look-ins of other college football games throughout the conference/country would be the best. One of the downsides of attending the ISU games in person is that I don't really get to watch any other games on TV. Play more highlights/replays of plays from the current...

    MLB: ***2026 Minnesota Twins***

Twins.TV stream is back for me now.. Just infuriating to start the season, but at least the rain delay prevented missing any of the game.

In the whole state of Iowa, if you subscribe to Twins.TV you will be able to watch all the Twins games without blackouts. FWIW, you can do a 7-day free trial to ensure that blackouts do not apply.

Excited for Twins.TV subscription. It's been 6 years since I got tired of paying $150/month for Directv to get the Twins in Iowa, then have FSNorth dropped by YTTV just a month after I switched to that. It's been the pirate seas for more for a looong time.
