    My brother spent the night in jail with the honorable Tom Latham in about 1970-71. I will ask if they were involved with the cannon. That will make him laugh. (My Dad told me once it was fake IDs.)

    Don't forget, the landscape has changed tremendously since David Montgomery. I don't know that Campbell could have retained Montgomery (and others) in todays college football world.

    I was working as a feed salesperson in the 1980s, I called on farmer one time. Two weeks later we were at Pikes Peak, Colorado. There was the farmer with a "good" hat on. It was a Garst Seed cap. Had a lot of orange in it, and very memorable. We talked, I never did get his business.

    ISU RELEASE: 2026 Cy-Hawk game will kick at 6:30 and be broadcast on NBC

    I believe college football is wide open year to year as it is now. Except the same 15-20 teams will be there every year, sometime with great, sometimes with not so great teams. That is my expectation. The rest are fillers unless they break away.
