    I moved into a new house a few years ago, they installed the sod in mid Aug, it took a lot of water the first few weeks to keep it alive, but then sept hit and it just went nuts. Aug seems to be the perfect time for it, so if you can, hold off till then.

    Moved into a new house 4 years ago, I went back to 5.1 and a pair of subwoofers (SVS PB3000's). I honestly cannot tell that much of a difference, it's just not worth all the extra wiring to get all those channels. Just a pair of wires snaked through the ceiling and the rest on the cabinet...

    I think I am in that boat coming soon. My son is a senior this year, so one more year for him. If he stays in the area, I might keep the tickets, but if he moves away I am probably going to spend that $$ on a season pass to coldwater and tailgate that way. $500+ per game is just too much anymore.

    Ames grad here, it's sad to me to see this. When I was a kid Ames clobbered all the DSM schools and ran the league. Boy how times have changed.

    We play Augusta a lot on the sim, it's really hard there. I cannot imagine what the course is really like. Really looking forward to this weekend, would love to see Rors get one again.

    Wow, the Bomgars 4 step 15,000 sq foot is $99. I may try that this year. I used the menards version last year and it worked just as well as Scotts for 1/2 the price.
