    They aren't getting out of the Alliance Conference because they aren't clobbering those schools, they are getting out because they are, and because of the travel. Norwalk, DCG, Indianola and to a lesser extent Pella and Newton will bring more competition and less travel. Hopefully Urbandale...

    They are only top 36 in football due to free and reduced number, and football doesn't play in conferences. In all other sports Norwalk and DCG will be like 45 and 46.

    Doesn't really matter if they are growing or not, most schools accept open enrollment, especially for sports. There is a clear transfer portal, especially to the biggest, fastest growing suburban schools. Johnston had 6 transfers start on their state title soccer team last year.
