    And FWIW I thought Pollard seemed kind of dodgy with questions at times and things weren't always clear, etc., but he stayed at a spot that's an uphill trek for 20 years and was very instrumental in ISU's brand. That's very commendable going out at 61 while things are good is the way to go.

    Which makes your speculation about JP also pretty tragic. So just to be clear, you saw the videos of him not being able to walk when shooting around at practice but thought he should play in a game, and would make a positive difference?

    It takes a village but what's the before/after image of Jack Trice stadium in 2004 and now? While success helps the brand I also feel like he had a hand in ISU being a bit more of a 'name' in his time.
