    UConn - Mich St.

FWIW, UConn has had their share of tough beats over the years playing regionals in their opponent's home state: Florida in Florida, Texas in Texas, UNC in N.C., UCLA in California and Maryland in D.C. to name a few. They paid enough dues to have a favorable draw.

Signed up on the UConn board to talk some basketball....

Did you go to the-boneyard.com? It's always seemed pretty loose to me, I'd be surprised if there was an effort to keep ISU fans away.

Drummond might be the most athletic big in the country. No guy his size can run the floor as well as he can. Try again.

Nice. My "useless fact" was in response to a question. I met a bunch of good ISU fans at the football game this fall. I guess you weren't there.

UConn was the 9th seed in 1991 and beat the 8th seeded Big 12 team. UConn had (and still has) a big advantage at head coach.

Anyone going to the UConn game?

I'd like to welcome any Cyclone fans coming to the game to our tailgate. We're in the Blue Lot in front of Gate C. That's the entrance on the left as you approach the stadium from Silver Lane. No obligation, stay as long or as short as you want. We've had a good time with visitors in the past...

UCONN Football Stadium - Rentschler Stadium

I agree and disagree with your points. It IS a pretty well done stadium. The sight lines are great, they got the pitch right. And it was built so a third tier can be plopped on the side opposite the press box and the endzones if the demand is ever there. But a night crowd at the Rent can get...

    UCONN Game

Yes, it is the same thing but they open a gate on Silver Lane on gamedays. That's the best place to enter. 555 Silver Lane isn't a real address, but plug it into Google Maps and the arrow is just about where the gate is. After the game, you leave out the back on Clement Road away from all the...

    UCONN Game

The best place for visiting fans to park is the Aircraft Club parking lot. Put "555 Silver Lane, E. Hartford CT" into Google maps for directions. It's just across the street from the stadium, easy place to leave from. Good place to meet up with others.
