    Coach Steyer announces retirement

    I'd like to see Pollard use this as an opportunity to hire the next head coach - giving the hire a year as assistant head coach in the manner that Creighton hired Huss to replace McDermott. That would minimize disruption and avoid a completely wasted year.

    One of the few benefits of living in Lincoln, NE, we’ll get it on Nebraska Public Television. I’ve got things to do so I’ll listen on Varsity. Everyone wants to win, and players on the court will play hard, but I’m guessing the coaches control the contest with an eye to developing their lineups.

    Iowa State Women’s Basketball releases 2025-26 non-conference schedule

    Little surprised by the return to Fort Meyers for Thanksgiving. We might go again as we have family in nearby Naples. A couple of name opponents will shore up an otherwise light non-con schedule.

    Did anyone watch this? Stats have KU with 3 yards rushing in a loss to the SEC. We can handle their passing if we don't have to worry about the rush at all.
