Lake Del-Hi fishing

Anyone know much about conditions and what areas to seek out in mid-June? I was going to paddle some other area river but they're on the way up with recent rains.

I was thinking of just going along some of the rocky areas on the east side of the lake.

I’ve never fished Delhi, but if there are good rocky bottom areas, I’d put on a Mepps 3 or 4 and go for smallmouth.

I know nothing fishing wise but if it is anything like it used to be if you want to fish I would go during the week or before 10AM or so. I couldn't imagine trying to fish especially from a kayak if the pleasure boat traffic is like it used to be.

Yeah I use a fly rod but anything flashy or buggy will be thrown around.

I'll likely be going early ish evening with the expected temps early in the week.

Hopefully the crowds will die down.
