Nothing unusual to report. Mostly hoks speaking their dislike of Petras, Brian and sometimes Kirk. The fans hatred was aimed there. It was a joy to observe.
My oldest had a guy want to fight him because he thought my son didn’t wave long enough. Didn’t know that had wave nazis.

It’s pathetic to boo your own players. Takes a crap fan base to do that.
They have done it for years. I've seen it in person in IA Shi++y. Not impressed.
They boo’d him in starting lineups. Sad group.
One minute they're feeling so good about themselves for waving, the next they're throwing things at college kids because they're not playing well enough for them in a nationally irrelevant game.
Iowa need to take a look at Oklahomas stadium to see how you can take an older stadium, leave it’s history but still modernize it some to be a good experience.
Their sound system is poor, the announcements bounce off the other end and there is a constant echo in there. Gives you a headache after a bit.

I was there just a few rows behind the Iowa bench. Kirk chewed his gum a lot. Other than that I heard lots of boos. A fan threw a beer at X after his touchdown and almost hit Riley Moss instead.
Yeah, I heard soundoff, the fans were yelling Petras and booing so it was directed at SP. The sound off guys were crying like babies. Major butt hurt. Then Ross verbal slaps @ChrisMWilliams in the face by saying ISU doesn’t have a call in show.
It's in the highlights. I think it happened more throughout.
There needs to be more smoke about how awful their fans are.
Both Ross and Travis kept harping on this, saying there isn't a Cyclone Sound Off show. It's like they don't even pay attention to what is happening WITHIN THEIR OWN COMPANY on iHeart stations.
Yet let’s flag ISU’s bench (normally a sideline warning first) for celebrating thinking they won the game instead of Iowa’s fans being jackasses disturbing the field of play by throwing stuff
There was sh*t flying after it ended too, it looked like. During that post game little dust up.
Maybe Jamie should file a complaint with their administration, make a big stink about it in the press, act like a petulant child and then warn all of the BIG athletic directors of the hoks' dangerous behavior against opponents who play in their dump of a stadium.
Of course Jamie is too classy to act like Barta and the hok fans. Speaking of despicable behavior by the hoks, was the ISU band there after enduring bandgate?

I haven't seen this in the media yet.....and tv coverage probably cut away, but the trophy was way at the north end and at first the players were not looking to get it and a few of them finally found where it was and the signaling and telegraphing to go get it was pretty fun to watch as they had to file all the way across the field to get it.
I thought fans were polite and nice to me.....I agree their angst is at their own offensive problems. The fan-base expectation differences are pretty funny...even BEFORE the unsportsmanlike penalty, the hawk fans were fleeing and we were not celebrating, just thinking "what new and creative way are we gonna lose this by now?"....just laughing with the 10 or 15% cyclone fans still there standing in the rain. I actually got drunk hugs and congratulations from most of the hawkeyes I know after the game.
The beer line needs tv's over it...that kinda sucked.
