Will this be the first time we've played Iowa under Campbell with a ST coach in place?
 
We had a guy for one year, Joe Houston I think his name was? Special teams weren't great that year from what I remember, but he got hired at Bama so must have been a good coach.
 
I hope with the experience this man brings we see a significant difference in the impact of their ST play upon us which has been just devastating the past few games.

Essentially he can't coach at all unless the laws have changed regarding analysts if I remember correctly. He breaks down film, stats, and kind of passes it along. Most analysts don't interact with players much or contact recruits.

For a lot of programs it is - or used to be - essentially an administrative assistant kind of thing in a sense where you have someone who knows exactly what they are looking at and what they are looking for and try to help the on field coaches maximize their time by breaking a portion of the game down for them
