WBB: Cyclones vs Mountain Mamas at 1200 on CY TV

Hopefully the crappy Cyclone.TV stuff works better than it's norm, we will see. Per the department release Scott will be starting but who knows for sure. They have a history of cut-n-past on these and they are not always correct.

AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State women's basketball team (15-11, 7-8, Big 12) looks to avoid the sweep when it takes on West Virginia (16-10, 6-9 Big 12) on Saturday, Feb. 29 at noon on Cyclones.tv. The Cyclones are to get back on track after three-straight losses in Big 12 play. Iowa State fell to WVU, 79-71 earlier in Big 12 action. ISU is 5-11 all-time against the Mountaineers and 3-4 in Hilton Coliseum.

As a reminder, Hilton Coliseum has instituted a Clear Bag Policy for athletic events. The policy will enhance security while improving efficiency at the entry gates.

If they are strangers to blue water, they probably don't smell so good.....not to mention virus germs. I hope fan section is waving bottles of clorox and cans of Lysol.
 
RealTime RPI predictor has us winning by 10. Think they highlight the WVU road record as a key. We lost 79-71 at WVU in a game where Joens only played 24 minutes due to foul trouble.

The Facebook post for the game makes it look like today is the 25th season celebration for Coach. Any idea if it will happen before or after the game?

Thanks for the update. Confirms my suspicion that the gameday posting from the Athletic Department was another one of their cut-and-paste jobs.

Wonder what our lineups will be. Scott and Ines combined for 29 pts in Morgantown.

Kane is going to need to be big. But really need to she something from Wise today. My prediction.
 
Cyclones.TV coming in perfectly for me, so the broadcast is OK.

Anyone listen to pre-game radio stuff to find out news on Scott? BJ, doing the TV, is inferring she's out for a while but I only tuned in at the tip-off so have heard no details.
 
Really like watching these guys in the front row of section 101. They embody Cyclone spirit.

WVU can look SO good and than look pretty bad on offensive like some switch is thrown off and on for them. A little like us at times, I guess. They have quite a bit of talent on their team.
 
So the last play was crazy. If they said she didn't get the shot off in time we should win by 3. Or they waived the foul off? Anyway glad we won!

They just changed the score to take away WV's last basket.
