OT: Winter Storm Upper Midwest 12/28 and 12/29

Haven't been paying attention to weather at all up here in MPLS because it's been so mild. 10:00 news just now said several models are saying a massive storm this weekend in the 16+ inch range for Twin Cities. A couple of other models saying it will be south. Are they predicting **** weather in Iowa this weekend?
 
Good to know, thanks. Even the Weather Channel is saying it will be bad. I trust those here more than most meteorologists. :)

I think it depends on time of day. I just watched the online KCCI forecast and they're saying there is possibility of crappy weather Saturday and Sunday because temps will be high 20s low 30s. WHOTV saying same.

Don't listen to weather "news", look at NWS or even Belinda locally if you have to click on TV news. Even the ******* Weather Channel isn't forecasting more than snow showers in their forecast once you get past their click bait video ********.

What’s your opinion on the Weather Channel Boxster?

I usually like wunderground and they have it at 34 degrees when it starts raining at 1am Saturday and when it ends at 5pm they are saying it will be 42 degrees.
