That has got to be some mega donor using this to go around NIL, like most of these sponsorships. It's such a small patch that surely can't be seen on camera very well. And it's not a name brand

The only issue I can see with this is if somebody goes and buys a jersey to wear around, it will presumably have the patch on it. I assume that is part of the value companies are paying for, and I could see how going by individual game would potentially mess that up. Otherwise I kind of like the idea.

Not a coincidence that so many of these patch deals are with local businesses or businesses where the founder/owner already had a direct tie (alumnus) to the school.

Iowa State will find those too. Stine Seeds is a natural but doubt multi-year 20+ million deal--would they swing at that?

If I had millions to spare and wanted a laugh I'd get with WAS, Super Dog, Pizza Pit, or some other small locally owned place and convince them to let me use their logo and then donate $10 mil to the AD to put a superdog on the uniform.
