Post Malone/Jellyroll concert at Jack Trice

It cracks me up all the Hawkeye fans on social media who are now trying to say "See this proves Iowa State isn't a national brand." I mean....your guy wasn't performing at Jack Trice and put on a Hawkeye shirt in the wrong stadium so it doesn't say much more about your team either! :p
I'm not sure what it says about your 'brand' when he doesn't realize he's even wearing your school shirt, but when they can't beat us in anything and they're otherwise known for boring football and punting they'll cling on to anything.

Did he think it was a generic “IOWA”, as in State of, or what?

I’m just following up on this thread now and this is probably what happened. Simple though process ‘We’re performing in Iowa, let’s wear one of those Iowa shirts people wear!’

Wait, you set a price and then TM jacks it around? But you are left with 0 if it doesn't sell? That's not right, if they want to scalp tickets/parking passes. They should pay you the asking price then resell them.
TM always ups the price when I sell MBB tickets. Pisses me off but that's what you get when dealing with a racket and have no other good options.

I did not go to Luke Combs, but the they definitely figured some things out experience wise last night compared to George. Not quite as full, but did fill up a bit more after Jelly. Security/ticket lines were faster, beer at every concession stand with minimal lines, the concourses were still pretty full but kept moving. We were below the press box and the sound was fine (other than a few jelly songs that don’t have anything to do work the sound equipment.

Getting into the parking lot last night was terrible! It took us over a 1/2 hour to get into the southwest lot in Hilton once we got on Beach on the the west side of the stadium! They better improve that!

Sound/PA for stadium shows is always the artist’s (rented) equipment being set up and run by their crew, so we can’t take credit for that. Frankly, if a stadium show sounds bad, someone absolutely needs to be fired.

I should look more closely some of the throw away games, I price them really cheap just so there are people in the seats, maybe that's why they don't sell. (I realize those aren't great games but ten bucks to watch the men play should be sellable. )

It's always a small percentage. Think I noticed some last year I listed at $150 being sold for low $160s, listing at $10 shouldn't jump to $20+ or anything crazy.

I have never had a problem getting a ticket or pass sold on the CF ticket exchange. Particularly when I’ve been willing to give a decent deal to make sure they’re used. It’s a way better option than reselling on Ticketmaster.

Post Malone looks like he would smell like a crusty old gym sock. I have plenty of tattoos but I don't get the face tats that have become so popular now. Can't say I'm a fan of his music but it's cool that he's into metal and I do respect him as a fellow musician. He actually seems like he might be cool to hang out with.

No clue who Jellyroll is but that's a funny name.

Hope everyone had a fun time at the concert.

Went to the concert. Seems like they intentionally make it hard for ticketholders to make it through the gate easily & quickly.

Faith Carter was OK, nice voice, hard to understand. Has potential. Jelly Roll was very good. Post Malone was BAD IMO - good singer but WAY TOO MUCH volgar language. We would have left after the 2nd song but got landlocked in our seats. Very disappointed in PM.

Don't know this person, just saw it on the facebook. thought I'd spread the word.

JR’s set felt like a Southern church revival. I get that his life was rough in ways that most of us couldn’t understand and he wants to spread a message that you can change the path you are on and the decisions you make to rise above it. Felt a little too much.
I saw him a couple years ago when he only had the one big song. At that time he spent close to 50% of his time going on about how weed should be legal. Sounds like he’s preaching something different now.
