Here is the write up on him

ANALYSIS
In an NBA where the possession battle is more important than ever, Lipsey helps you win that better than nearly any other player in the draft class. But the key is what you do with the possessions, and Lipsey might be giving up too much from a skill and scoring perspective.

The idea here is something like a T.J. McConnell type who can burst into the lane and provide tough, energetic defense. But McConnell survives by being one of the best drivers in the NBA. He’s something of an outlier. Can Lipsey be an outlier and develop an in-between game or the 3-point shot? Maybe. If I were the general manager of a team overseas, he’d be one of the players I’d most want to try to convince to join my team. And in the NBA, I absolutely think he’s worth a two-way contract as a developmental third guard who runs your G League team.

But he will need to find answers as a scorer, because even someone like Jose Alvarado can shoot 3s effectively in the NBA as a counter on offense.

The biggest knock on him is his offense, and can he score in the NBA.
