I think she has worked at about every radio station in DM
I feel bad for all of those that lost their jobs, but Heather has never been my cup of tea. Discussing tweets on air (even if they are inaccurate or fake) is not being informed. And I never understood the point of Ask 5-0 Anything segments other than to fill time. Didn't mind her on 100.3 though.

I don’t like that they got rid of local radio, but she was a brutal listen. Actually enjoyed the last morning show since she was on vacation.

Iheart is letting go of people all over the country again. Next will be voice tracking from a studio 500 miles away or A.I. Radio is hurting big time. The radio stations in Newton (KCOB and Energy 106.7) and KGRN in Grinnell were shut down (for now) on June 9th by the company that owned them due to "financial difficulties".
Frosty Mitchell must be turning over in his grave.

I actually don't mind Lavar but his show with Plaxico and T. J. Houshmandzadeh is better because its real, honest insight.

When the Iowa stuff with Chris Doyle was going, I think it was Plax that asked Lavar what he would do, and Lavar didn't mince words with putting his hands on Chris.
Cool

Agreed. She barely knew anything about what happened the night before. The one thing I adored about CW on the radio was his ability to speak about every game and every team as though he at least had heard of them and knew a bit about them.

Hell she wouldn’t have even known Giannis got traded this morning.

Idk seems like everyone here only ******* about everything regardless of the topic.

I’ve always liked Condon but he earned serious respect from me today. It took major stones to do the show today for Condon and to keep it about Miller. If I were him I’d have both middle fingers up and the building on fire while I left if I was in his situation.

Funniest show on KGRN for me as a kid was Dog Gone with Frosty telling all the lost and found dogs of Grinnell. It was weird I know but I always got a kick out listening to Frosty pronounce Chihuahua.

When Frosty bought WMT in the mid 80's he did two things to 96.5 FM which at the time was playing "beautiful music" a.k.a. elevator music. He changed the format to adult contemporary music and hired D.J.'s. The second thing he did was add Iowa State sports with Pete Taylor and Eric Heft.
