Favorite part of ISU campus

Not my favorite place but the M shop was a lot of fun. Donate blood up in the great hall then go downstairs and split a pitcher with friends before your next class.

Not my favorite spot, but the spot of one of my favorite memories. One Christmas after finals I went there and heard four tubas playing Christmas music.

Graduated 19 years ago. Loved that path between Beardshear and Curtiss. Loved just how cool those buildings are. Recently just showed my kids the MU, they thought it was cool.

I remember in winter figuring out all the ways to get around by going through buildings to keep warm.

We called it little Siberia in the winter time

I have memories of sitting on the east steps of Beardshear (overlooking central campus) as the sun was setting, drinking those 8oz bottles of Michelob with my roommate, and having deep discussions about our one-question Philosophy 201 midterm exam:

If God is all powerful, all knowing, and benevolent, why is their natural evil in this world (e.g., natural disasters, plagues, etc.)?

Buzzed Philosophy is a 400 level class. I think our discussion was interpreting "King of Pain" lyrics as suffering being an imperfection of humanity while sitting on the MU ledge.

Yes I stayed in town one summer and worked. Enjoyed all the resources without having to share. The only negative was you had to plan basketball time as there wasn’t a pick up game available at all times of the day like during the school year.

Sitting in the second floor of Catt Hall looking off to the South during or after a snowfall and watching students wipe out trying to walk on the sidewalk with the steep incline.

The library tiers were a favorite for the very stupid (but effective) pregaming activity "Beers in Tiers." Drink a beer on each tier, as fast as you can, without getting caught. Bonus points for leaving the empties in creative spots on the shelves.

Graduated over 20 years ago - why the hell am I just now learning about this?!

I miss walking home from Welch on a cold night and knowing which routes to get to Freddy allowed for the most time indoors where it was warm with good places for a bathroom break.

I also miss the old C-Stores from my freshmen year at MWL. They had every unhealthy snack I could want after a day on the beers.
