easy way to keep up with recruits/map

I expect good turnover the first year. Usually is for a new coach in this no rules world.
That and with Big10/SEC schools willing to spend $30-$50M with House/AD NIL money on portal/HS players it put schools like ISU in a situation where it could be tough to keep it's stud players.

So for Rogers to be in a position to re-load (vs. re-build) from season-to-season, the coaches will need to actively churn the bottom of the roster.

The days of giving a HS player a roster spot and it's OK that he's 3rd/4th string his jr/sr year might be over.

Yeah, and I don't think we're willing to fund football as competitively as we are MBB right now.
 
It’s a double-edged sword. If you are getting paid, and are not performing, you will be recruited over. If you are getting paid, and you are performing, you will be leaving for greener pastures. ISU Coaches have to work extremely hard on recruiting just to cover for attrition.
