We’ll take it. Thanks Rockies. Didn’t really deserve it with the RISP thing being a major problem again but W’s a W

I do feel bad for Pete. Getting picked off immediately kinda took some of the moment away for him. Loved his postgame interview. He seemed pissed about his mistake and pissed that the game was even as close as it was

I thought the worst thing was having a relief staff that can't throw hard stuff past hitters. I was very wrong, the worst thing is throwing 98+ and can't throw a strike!!

Crazy win.

First batter top of the 6th why didn't anyone appeal the check swing ball 4 at the start of the inning? Is that a **** up by Ballesteros?

Nice win. Pretty crazy that 9 of 38 wins for Cubs are walk-offs.

It's almost to point where Cubs have to have Shaw & Ramirez in line up most games. I have more confidence they can consistently get big hit than players like Swanson, Happ, Conforto & Suzuki.

The other interesting roster move could be Ballesteros. He's struggled for a bit, should Cubs send him down to Iowa to play catcher/1B every day and work on swing?

The problem with sending Mo down is whoever you bring up makes you worse.

Alcantara is never going to put it together, Triantos has fallen off a cliff, Johnathan Long is proving last year was a fluke, Kingery and Cowles aren't on the 40 and neither one of them are even as good as Nicky Lopez.

Maybe you look at Justin Dean but he's not going to get any time in the outfield so why bother?

This team kind of is what it is.

Seriously somebody needs to get fired. Either the trainer or the manager. Those are the two that decided Palencia could continue after the mound visit.
