***2026 Iowa State Football Season Thread***

I hated our game against ark state last year because this guy is so shifty. Really excited for his play this year
I hope he throws better with another year under his belt. I like the running part of his game but in the big 12 he's going to be an injury liability.

It was a just a few days ago that Pollard said publicly that season tickets were on track to where they thought/budgeted. Now I don't know what that number might be, I'm sure they have planned a decrease given the coaching change, etc. but I suppose the important thing is that they feel like it's on pace for what they planned.
We just an email from Athletics advertising a Father's Day Mini-Pack special. Three games for $150, savings of $49. Also selling seaon tickets starting at $309,
Text:

This offer ends June 21, so don't wait on this one.

Step it up with a full season package starting at just $309. The Cyclone Mobile Pass covers all 7 home games and is our most flexible and affordable season-long option. Zaimir Hawk moved into a new neighborhood in Ames and allegedly experienced some sort of discrimination or racism. He posted about it. The trolls on twitter spun it into an Ames/Iowa State thing which is why I’m guessing he took it down and ended up just posting this.

You mean the school who has settled racial discrimination law suits within the football team was commenting on the city of Ames’ racial tolerance? Same place that is one of the only college communities to embrace a black athlete as big as ISU?

That should come straight out of the player's pockets that chose not to play.
When your coach leaves for another school and so many of your players follow him that you can't field a team for a bowl game, how is that Iowa State's fault? How could we have had control over this situation?

This is BS. I think we should contact the Texas Attorney General's office.

Reading all the updates on players coming then leaving once they get a matching offer is sad. Think these kids get an inflated sense of their ability and jump ship! Will be a rough few years at least. Saw that Manske is hoping to be qb2 at Pedo State made me laugh. Could have been starter here- what a dumb decision!

I thought Manske had some health problem that was going to keep him out this season?

It wont be a rough few years, it MIGHT be one rough year. And by this point a rough year to us ISU fans might be losing to TOE and going 5-7,6-6. Rough used to mean 2-10. Second, had nothing changed, Rocco would have still been the starter here this coming season. We would have been lucky to keep Manske the following offseason, however as Collin Klein is absolutely in love with the kid and KSU will most likely try to lure him from PSU, unless the rumor about his health is true
