I would guess when you have 70-80 new players on a football team. You did not quite have the ability to make sure everyone was in the same mindset as when you have a fully functioning football program. The type that after year one of play, you can be more selective. Jimmy probably needed players. This kid is a player. He took him, the player probably realized he was out of his league, and decided to leave. The Jackson situation is probably him and the coaches just not jiving which is fine for Jackson to leave and try a different program. This day and age, two players leaving after the off season we had is no big deal at all. I am suprised that it's not more players. Can't get 70 new people and expect all of them to work out the way you wanted.

I was (still am) a big Mouser proponent when he didn't get the head job after Campbell left. Got a lot of downvotes back then lol.

Agreed. Why would you stick around to be 3rd string anywhere in this era? I dont blame these guys.
