Is Jayden Jackson leaving Iowa State?

If the player does something that warrants negative reporting, let the reporter tell the truth. But saying "forced to play" a certain player in a spring game is just weird phrasing?
Was that a direct quote from Jimmy?

Shame on Bill Seals for taking what Rogers said and making it into something it's not. Rogers never said he was "forced" to play Jackson (at a glorified practice), and i dont think his "he hasnt done much" is a shot at Jackson, i think Rogers was saying that Jackson just hasn't participated much yet - presumably due to off the field reasons, so his skillset is kind of unknown at this point.

With that being said though, the kid needs to be mentally tougher if the reason he's leaving is because his feelings got hurt by what a reporter said. RB is a position of concern for us this season so losing a big bruiser is never a good thing. I hope he gets his stuff figured out off the field and can contribute somewhere.

I think the Rogers quote kinda slipped through the cracks. It was pretty direct and a little more than typical coachspeak.

It’s always interesting to see fans reaction when a guy who was probably never going to see the field leaves the team. I feel like, who cares? If he was this upset about hearing he wasn’t probably going to play, how was he going to feel in the season when he actually didn’t play.

If he left because of an article then we didn't want him anyways. You're getting paid to play football now wear your big boy pants.

In reality I'm sure there were other things that played a role in this, sounds like he had some off the field issues to begin with.

Life goes on. Good thing about not knowing any of these players is that I don't really know enough about them to care.

Absolutely. Kid clearly wasn’t meeting expectations
