F1 2026 Discussion

I don’t pay super close attention and I know there are people who don’t like this regulation set but I don’t think I’ve watched a better race.

I think certain tracks are going to be way better and some are going to be horrible to watch. I am not sure which will be which though.

BTW anyone know how to get the old Sky announcers over the F1 announcing team? The F1 team just does not do it for me.

If you scroll to the right on Apple TV, you can select the Skysports Broadcast.

I fell asleep last night about half way through and woke up just in time to see the post race interviews. I should probably go back and watch the last half of the race.

I did see this on Reddit though. First comment says he went from a podium to P8 in a little more than lap. Ouch.

Yeah it was wild, i missed it since i was at a 2 year old's birthday party...

IDK if his front suspension was broken before or after the spin... there wasn't much contact with the wall.

Couldn't turn, so he was pulling a Hamilton in Singapore in cutting corners.

Sprint Race Qualifying results for the Sprint Race at 11 am tomorrow. Also feels strange not having Monaco Race on Memorial Day Weekend.

Great battle between the Mercs. Looked like it was going to be a boring sprint and now they brought everyone back into it.

I missed the sprint race but had the race on Sunday on in my garage. For all the complaining about the new regs it feels like we're getting some pretty good racing so far. I am concerned about what the high speed tracks later in the year are going to look like. I think the energy harvesting is going to make Monza, Spa and Mexico City snooze fests.

The sprint was pretty good too. Seems like these new cars can follow a lot closer and for a lot longer, and that's part of what's making the battles so fun.
