Hope we can back up the talk. I was a little surprised that CW and Blum were both matter of fact about the OL being above average on a recent pod. There are some bodies, but I'm skeptical of finding 5 good OL transfers in year 1.

I'm interested in seeing Moberly as a gadget running QB, and I hope CW's comparison to Lanning is more about that than style of play. Moberly is 6'4 220. Lanning was 6'2 230 and was a power running QB in high school. Two very different players. I think Moberly could be an option if we want to gain the man advantage in the running game without killing Raynor.

I also hope that Moberly is able to contribute this season. He's a definite running threat, but commit too much to stopping his run game and he'll burn you over top. However, it seems that the Okie State transfer is the clear #2 QB at this very early stage.

I’ve attended and observed portions of two practices thus far. I think 4 wins will be difficult. Lots of heart, good culture, little talent/playmakers anywhere on the field.
