Yes. I believe Artemis 4 and 5 will land on moon in 2028/9(?). Artemis 3 is supposed to be in 2027 and is just staying in earth orbit to test more systems. So we are not landing? Just going around the moon?

Correct. Next 2 flights are test flights around the moon. Artemis 4 in late 2028 will land on the moonSo we are not landing? Just going around the moon?
I think once we actually land on the moon in a couple of years we should turn it into a "Death Star". Just mount a giant as@ laser on it like Marvin the Martian.
Some EPA thing I guess. So we are not landing? Just going around the moon?
But what if they see a cool rock?Yep, not landing
They get to see the dark side of the moon in full sunlight, so of course they'll see a cool rockBut what if they see a cool rock?
Isnt that why Artemis 2 is using a different reentry trajectory to reduce stress on the heat shield? There are some questions about the heat shield. They've addressed them for Artemis III but didn't have the time or money for Artemis II.
Pink Floyd laser light show? They get to see the dark side of the moon in full sunlight, so of course they'll see a cool rock
Will also be the furthest from Earth humans have ever gone, just barely.
Jeez you’re oldWatched many of the Apollo launches on NBC with Frank Mcgee as the commentator back in the day. Just know rewatching the NBC Apollo 11 broadcast on Youtube! Great memories! Will definitely be watching today!

Safety protocol. The last time we stopped there, the guys got back from their moon walk and their shuttle was up on blocks. So we are not landing? Just going around the moon?
There's more than the heat shield that could go wrong. I have some real concerns about this mission. Starting with this is only the 2nd launch of this system and they've got people on it. Also a chance something doesn't work right on the capsule in LEO and they scrap the transfer to the moon. There are some questions about the heat shield.
