The recurring problem of a guard court not being able to make a basket contributed to another early out for the Sisters. But the problems went much deeper than horrid shooting.

The Box Score tells the whole story. Audi & Jada score 51 points. The other 7 score a total of 12. Ain't gonna beat decent teams like that.

As far as the ref who called the flagrant. That's Tiffany Byrd and I've watched her since she first hatched out of ref school about 5 years ago. In fact I saw her ref her second game. The other two refs had to have a pow wow with her at least 4 times because she got so many things wrong. You may remember that I pointed her out to you at the tourney either last year or the year before. And I told you she almost always has a couple of calls that changes the outcome of the game. Sad thing is the other two refs should have overruled her and kept it as a regular fowl.

I question the foul at all. The reason her head was so close is because she reached all the way across Jackson's body. She did not have position, foul should have been on defense. IMHO

You may be right. It didn't even look like an offensive foul at all when I first saw it. After seeing several camera angles I was relatively ok with it. The reason I said the other two refs should have insisted on it staying as a regular foul is because that's why they went to the review. The foul had already been called and they went to see if it should be "Upgraded" . That's where they shirked their duty. They should have overruled the Bxxxh.

The tv announcers were baffled by the call, saying before the announcement (and after) that it was natural movement and shouldn’t be upgraded. So much for announcer knowledge. Wonder what the mbb official (announcers ask his opinion, can’t remember his name) would have said.
