Just seems like the game is so much easier with Addy on the court.

I wonder if Addy is going to continue to be on a pitch count or if her 20 minutes are just easing her back into game speed. Her stat line is very solid for her minutes.

Did anyone catch what was up with Paulk? Broken clavicle with the sling?

That kind of sling could be any number of things. Soft tissue would be likely. Especially wonder about it since the staff said after the previous game she would be available. Perhaps an injury from practice?

Agree that those three second in the lane calls were suspect. I rewatched the first and did the one thousand one and they called it when I got yo one thousand two! Unless having the edge of her heals on the outside of the line starts the count, this was the first time I had see it so blatantly miss-called.

On the radio is seemed like we barely got the ball across halfcourt when it was called, they were still talking about the previous ASU shot.

I know it's different, but when we'd officiate HS ball, you could eliminate almost every 3 second related issue by the lead official just saying "outta the lane" or "keep movin" to the players and they understand what that means. I have no doubt Audi camps out sometimes, but those seemed crazy fast.

Bill mentioned that its an elbow issue and she will be getting an MRI. Not expected back soon.

Audi's second three second call was a good call she was in at three seconds and was stepping out at four. The third was bogus as she was only in for two seconds when it was called!

Hoping that rough patch turns out to have made us a better team to finish the season going into tournament play. We had to learn how to play as a team when we can't just feed Audi the ball every time down the floor. Jada has really stepped it up offensively (although wish her turnovers would improve) and AJ has really stepped up to and become another scoring option. Getting a healthy Addy Brown back in the mix should hopefully open up the offense even more now and make it tougher for defenses to get away with doubling Audi. When they do we then make them pay but not passing up good looks just to reset and try to pass it back into Audi again.

I like how Bill has tightened up the rotation lately too. Got our normal starting 5 back with Harris, Beaty, AWilly, as our main 8 players right now. Can see Wilson and a healthy Paulk chipping in a few minutes when needed too but as long as we can stay healthy I think going 8 deep most nights just like the men's team does is the best way to keep your best players on the floor as much as possible. Last year felt like we were trying to play everyone and we never got into a rhythm or defined roles. This season when we were without Addy and AJ at the same time and defenses were denying Audi the ball it finally forced this team to realize other people need to step up and take shots when they have good looks. Let's hope that mentality continues now that "we are whole again."

I noticed the ASU coach shook hands with CF after the game but did not go through the handshake line. Was this not odd? They say she's and up and comer; she coaches with a lot emotion. I thought this was disrespectful - doesn't get any points from me.

I didn't notice this as we left at the horn but, this would be odd. I did think she was complementary of Brown, Crooks and ISU in the postgame.
