BYU did exactly what I thought they would do. Try to score in the lane. Then they did a few things they haven't been doing like making free throws and hitting three pointers. And the Sisters...

Twas a Bummer for sure. I swear it's looking like Baylor is going to take the conference simply because the other 5 decent teams ( TT, TCU, WV, OSU, ISU) just absolutely CANNOT GET OUT OF THEIR OWN WAY!!

Tech wins at BU & WV but loses at home to KSU & ISU
TCU stomps BYU & beats WV on the road, then loses to UU & CU
WV beats BU by 10 & ISU by 13 but loses to TT & TCU in Morgantown
OSU leads BU by 19 late in the 3rd but loses by 9. Yet beats CU & ISU
ISU - 5 losses, then 5 wins, Another loss. Can they finish 9-9 ???

This conference is messier than a hogs breakfast

For ISU, it always comes down to the guards. I’d blame it on Jadda’s foul trouble but she was in when all the damage happened. As the guard court goes, so goes ISU. Last night was just a mess all the way around. More performances like that will yield more losses to any team they face. Hope some home cooking will help.

KSU is quite a mystery. ISU faces them twice in the next 5 games. They had some horrible losses in preseason as well as in the conference. But sometimes they look like the best team in the league. They lost to AZ by 10, who is next to last but destroyed this BYU team (25 pts) that just spanked ISU. If the Clones lose both times to them there will be very little icing left for the cake. Jackson who had pretty much been the MVP for the last 5 games comes up with 3 points last night. I tell ya I've been rooting hard for this team all year long but these type of losses just makes you want to kick the cat.

I hate to say it but I don't know if one Big 12 team will make the 2nd weekend of the tournament....there are certainly good teams but in comparison to specifically the Big Ten and the SEC, we have no depth at all.

Right now only TCU is projected as hosting (and they have been dropping) so just by seeding that's a good bet. And TCU is a loss away from not hosting. Maybe the only Big 12 team starting off at home will be the 1st place team as a default nod to a P4 conference?

I think you could very well be correct. All of the teams seem to be playing at a very mediocre level right now. All of those top teams in the big 12 playing at their best definitely could make the sweet 16. But, that’s probably the limit.

I don’t think Audi is playing as well as she did earlier in the season either. I know she is seeing a variety of defenses, but she doesn’t seem to be moving as well. She has always had great feet for her size and that makes her tough in the low post. She just doesn’t seem the same to me.

Was glad Kenz at least had a good game...unfortunately AJ didn't have as good of one as I was hoping.

K-State has been playing really well so even though their record isn't great, they have been streaky lately. Need to win on Saturday.

Yeah…something seems “off” about her. Hard to put a finger on it.

It’s that time of year…I wonder (pure hypothesis here) if there is a bug going around the team?

I agree, but I got to think Addy being out is having a big impact. Addy usually was near the lane with Audi, now we play a lot more 4 out.
