Not likely to be much of game from a competative standpoint. Houston is a REALLY bad team. They have lost to Rice, SF Austin, Arkansas State and Southern (whose job it is to go on the road and lose in NC to P4 teams). WVU annihilated them by 55 points in their first Big 12 game of the season.

Mission: Stuff stats and don't get any injuries.

Only really getting into WBB the past few years I always have to check myself assuming the Big 12 must be the dominant WBB league since it has been for 25 years in mbb. Even the new teams we've added the past to rounds of realignment only made MBB more lethal or in BYU's case added the biggest pro basketball payroll outside the NBA. Clearly Houston has a big gap between their programs right now.

Scared me I thought I had the date wrong in my head.

It’s been interesting to see the Big 12 evolve since the teams were added. I fully expected Arizona to be decent, but they continued to flounder under their coach. This year, we are seeing Arizona State emerge after hiring a top end coach. BYU and Utah have both been competitive and that’s good. If Houston decides to get serious about women’s basketball, they have the resources to put into it and could quickly turn things around.

I had a high school friend who played wbb for Houston so all things equal they’d probably irrationally be my second favorite b12 wbb.

The biggest things I want to see today is (a) Crooks handling multiple bigs thrown at her and (b) seeing the guard court re-emerge offensively.

Anything but a big rout will be underwhelming. Maybe a good reintroduction to the routine of travel and conference play but that's about it. We have only left Iowa once this season, over Thanksgiving to play those two games in Florida.

Houston ranks #46 out of the 48 P4 conference teams for a reason. Only the truly pathetic cellar of the ACC is worse with Pittsburgh and Boston essentially tied for 48th place.

I'm surprised there are P4 teams that are worse. Even if you include the Big East only Depaul is rated lower in the net.

Offense looks completely out of sorts. Fennelly said the last practice wasn’t good. Seems like it’s continued. Brown is off on both ends. Dropping off too much on d allowing her player to hit wide open shots. Forcing it on offense.

Typical turnovers trying to get it into double teamed Audi

It's funny that they have media timeout even though ESPN doesn't have commercials to play.
