I have never been to a concert at this venue. I know it's a big field but are there seats set up too or do you bring your own? The event I'm looking at is a popular group and was wondering what options there may be? Is parking, etc a pain?

TIA

Looks like they have some reserved tickets up fron t close to the stage. The "lawn" area is general admission with no assigned seating and you'd need to bring your own chair/blanket.

What about the parking for this venue? We are going to Allison Krause and Union Station Sunday and have never been to a concert there. I've driven by when others are going on and it looks like people park all over and some at quite a distance from the venue.

Any tips on parking or other options for transportation from those that have attended concerts there?

There’s parking off of George Flagg Parkway and Water Works Park streets. I think it’s $10-$20 to park but not a bad walk to the amphitheater. Don’t park at Grays Lake unless you’re certain you can be gone by the time the gates close at 10:00.

If this is where Willie Nelson played a few years ago, we were there and parked in the grassy parking area north of the venue. Seemed like plenty of spaces there.
