Is This Heaven...No, It's Iowa...

After a whirlwind of weekend of emotions...I couldn't be more proud to be an Iowa State fan.

I get thrown **** sometimes here in San Diego for the amount of Iowa State gear I wear or the Iowa State wallpaper or coffee mugs or mouse pads. Most of the time friendly little jabs here and there from USC or UCLA folk...and I will mention you just don't get it as you don't know about college pageantry or loyalty out here.

However, I will say this and what's gone unwritten over the weekend is the amount of passion our fans, those at CF, and most importantly, our AD.

Not sure I've grown men shed tears over losing a coach to another school, etc.

Proud to be a Cyclone.

I'll keep posting this...

Keep supporting all the coaches and athletes and administration as you always have. If you have given and can/want to continue to, absolutely do so. Keep rooting for us to win and to get to the next level in every sport. Keep telling the players and staff how much we love them. Keep filling seats, and keep cheering. Keep rooting for JP to be successful keeping Iowa State relevant. Keep rooting for CyTown to help in any way possible. Get behind the new coach and give him as much support as we gave CMC or that we give TJ or BF.

Passion comes in many shapes and sizes, but the end goal for all of us remains the same. In the end, it's all about Iowa State being the best it can be.
